What is UP Board Scrutiny / Re-Evaluation?

If a student feels that the marks awarded to them in the UP Board 10th or 12th Exams 2026 are lower than expected, they have the right to apply for Scrutiny (Copy Re-checking). During scrutiny, the UPMSP panel recounts the marks, ensures all answers are evaluated, and checks if the marks are correctly uploaded on the cover page.

UP Board Marksheet Correction 2026 (Name, DOB, etc.)

If there is any spelling error in the candidate's name, mother's name, father's name, or Date of Birth (DOB) on the downloaded provisional marksheet, it must be corrected immediately before the original hard copy is printed.

• Write a formal application to the Principal of your respective school/college.
• Attach a copy of your Admit Card, Aadhar Card, and Provisional Marksheet.
• The school principal will forward the correction request to the regional UPMSP office through their DIOS portal.

How to Apply for UP Board Scrutiny Form 2026?

1. Visit the Important Links section below and click on the "Apply Online Scrutiny" link.
2. Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth / School Code to login.
3. Select the subject(s) you wish to apply for Scrutiny. (You will be charged Rs 500 per subject).
4. Generate the E-Challan online and pay the fee at the specified Treasury/Bank branch.
5. After fee payment, update the Challan details on the UPMSP portal and submit the final form.
6. Download the final Scrutiny application form. Send the hard copy of the application along with the original Treasury Challan to your Regional UPMSP Office via Registered/Speed Post before the last date.
